we work for knowledge - heritage in the territory

This is a very well constructed piece of contemporary design produced by We Work For Knowledge, a Portuguese design company. The leaflet employs a clever system of overprinting black on red on a white stock in order to create this brilliant piece of typographically led, contemporary design. The spot colour overprinting would certainly save on costs although there are still CMYK image photos there that would need to be accounted for which raises the question of whether the general black and red colours are actually spot or not. As it is a leaflet that is on some form of paper stock, the likely print process is offset lithography. As for the banner, this is likely to be rotogravure due to the thickness of the material that the banner is made from. It needs to be durable to withstand all weather conditions.

Be seeing you!
