Typography generally isn't my thing to produce in the field of Graphic Design, but this does not stop me from enjoying and appreciating it as an art form. This is a very well designed, postmodern book design all about the philosophy of typography by Steven Acres, that cleverly instills the values communicated in the work produced.
Although the book contains several sophisticated uses of typography there are also some well produced images to accompany the type. The illustrations are relevant and are subtle in their communicative appearance and what's more is that they don't draw the viewer/reader away from the main focus; the typography.
The book must've been very cheap to produce as only two colours (black and red) are used! Could easily be done with two spot colours on litho.
Be seeing you!
